General Home Inspection

Pre-Listing Home Inspection
We suggest that sellers have a home inspected before putting it on the market. During a Pre-Listing Home Inspection, we will find issues in the home that might deter potential buyers. This gives sellers the opportunity to resolve the issues before the home is shown. Afterward, the home will likely be more appealing to buyers and the selling process will often go more smoothly.
Builder’s Warranty Inspection
When a home is first built, it often has a warranty on it for the first year. This warranty protects the new homeowner by taking away the financial responsibility of any defects in construction or issues in the home that occur in the 12 months after construction. We recommend that homeowners have the home inspected during the 11th month of this warranty. During the inspection, we will find any issues or defects that the owner can then have repaired before the warranty ends.
New Construction Inspection
We offer inspections on newly constructed homes before the final walk through. During this inspection, we will be able to find any oversights that might have happened during construction so that they can be repaired, making the finished home safe and livable. Because inspector Ara Bekmezian has experience as a licensed general contractor, BEK Home Inspection is able to easily recommend advice on repairing construction oversights in the home.
New Construction Phase Inspection
We also offer Phase Inspections for each individual phase a home goes through during its construction. Insurance companies often ask for the documented completion of each phase, and banks are more likely to offer assistance to builders with proof of phase inspections. These smaller and more specific inspections also ensure that the home is safe and in working order at each individual level prior to your move-in date.
